Tiger Tail Beach

Tiger Tail Beach is a - birdwise - very interesting beach on Marco Island on the west coast of Florida. Highlights in this area were Piping Plover, Wilsons Plover and Black Skimmer.

Black Skimmer
Black Skimmers forage the lagoon at the beach. Great sighting to see them fishing.
Wilsons Plover
Wilsons Plover is a rather large heavy billed plover, easily found on Tiger Tail Beach.
Brown Pelican and Laughing Gull
This Laughing gull is a nuicance to the Brown Pelican that gently tries to eat its catch without sharing it with the gull.
