Little Grebe (Tachybaptus ruficollis, Dodaars): 1 – Ogliastro delta
Scopoli's Shearwater (Calonectris diomedea, Scopoli's Pijlstormvogel): several seen from the ferry both to and from Corsica. Also seen close to shore from Cargèse headlands.
Levantine Shearwater (Puffinus yelkouan, Yelkouan Pijlstormvogel): 1 – from the ferry to Corsica, close to the Corsican shore.
European Shag (Phalacrocorax aristotelis desmarestii, Kuifaalscholver): V – seen on different spots along the coast, most numerous near Cargèse headlands.

Scarce Swallowtail (Iphiclides podalirius, Koningspage): one at a parking place along the Route de Soleil; a few in the mountains of Corsica
Corsican Swallowtail (Papilio hospiton, Corsicaanse Koninginnepage): two at Haut Asco, may be restricted to mountainous areas
Swallowtail (Papilio machaon, Koninginnepage): seen in good numbers in Ersa (Cap Corse) and other spots at Cap Corse, less common elsewhere on the island
Clouded Yellow (Colias croceus, Orange luzernevlinder): small number in the lower areas of Corsica; common in Peau de Meau
Cleopatra [2] [3](Gonopteryx cleopatra, Cleopatra): the most common butterfly of Corsica during our stay, seen all over the island, abundant on Cap Corse, at one spot there must have been over 2000 at flowering weeds along a football field
Wood White (Leptidea sinapsis, Boswitje): one at Propriano
Large White (Pieris brassicae, Groot koolwitje): fairly common and widespread
Small White (Pieris rapae, Klein koolwitje): fairly common and widespread
Bath White (Pontia daplidice, Resedawitje): several at Peau de Meau
Small Copper (Lycaena phlaeas, Kleine vuurvlinder): widespread in low numbers on Corsica
Brown Argus (Aricia agestis, Bruin blauwtje): a few at Haut Asco and Col de Bavella, probably overlooked elsewhere
Holly Blue (Celastrina argiolus, Boomblauwtje): widespread all over Corsica
Little Blue (Cupido minimus, Dwergblauwtje): one at a parking place along the Route de Soleil
Silver-studded Blue (Plebeius argus, Heideblauwtje): a few at Haut Asco
Common Blue (Polyommatus icarus, Icarusblauwtje): widespread in low numbers on Corsica
Two-tailed Pasja (Charaxes jasius, Pasja): widespread in the lower coastal parts, seen daily
Small Tortoiseshell (Aglais urticae, Kleine vos): one in the Crau
Purple Emperor (Apatura iris, Grote weerschijnvlinder): two at two car parks along Route de Soleil
Peacock (Inachis io, Dagpauwoog): only a very few in Corsica
Southern White Admiral (Limenitis reducta, Blauwe IJsvogelvlinder): seen in small numbers in the coastal areas all over the island
White Admiral (Limentis camilla, Kleine ijsvogelvlinder): several at car parks along Route de Soleil
Large Tortoiseshell (Nymphalis polychloris, Grote vos): at least three at Col de Bavella
Comma Butterfly (Polygonia c-album, Gehakkelde aurelia): a few at various places
Southern Comma (Polygonia egea, Zuidelijke aurelia): several seen at Col de Bavella
Red Admiral (Vanessa atalanta, Atalanta): various places but in small numbers
Painted Lady (Vanessa carui, Distelvlinder): various places but in small numbers
Cardinal [2] (Argynnis pandora, Kardinaalsmantel): fairly common in the mountains, also low altitudes
Silver-washed Fritillary (Argynnis paphia, Keizersmantel): fairly common all over Corsica, flies together with Cardinal but seems less restricted to mountainous areas
Corsican Fritillary (Argynnis elisa, Corsicaanse parelmoervlinder): several at Haut Asco
Queen of Spain Fritillary (Issoria lathonia, Kleine parelmoervlinder): several at Haut Asco and some other spots
Great Banded Grayling (Brintesia circe, Witbandzandoog): a few at Propriano and on the way to Zonza
Corsican Heath (Coenonympha corinna, Corsicaans hooibeestje): common in mountains
Small Heath (Coenonympha pamphilus, Hooibeestje): common all over Corsica
Pearly Heath (Coenonympha arcania, Tweekleurig hooibeestje):one seen at a car park along Route de Soleil
Southern Grayling (Hipparchia aristaeus, Zuidelijke heivlinder): quite common in the coastal areas of Corsica, for example easily found on Cap Corse
Pale Wall Butterfly (Lasiommata paramegaera, Vale argusvlinder): fairly common in Maquis habitat for example at Cap Corse
Meadow Brown (Maniola jurtina, Bruin zandoogje): fairly common but seemingly with a patchy distribution on Corsica
Marbled White (Melanargia galathea, Dambordje): common in Peau de Meau
Speckled Wood (Pararge aegeria aegeria, Bont zandoogje): very common all over Corsica and France
Southern Gatekeeper (Pironia cecilia, Zuidelijk oranje zandoogje): very common at Maquis habitat for example at Cap Corse
Gatekeeper (Pyronia tithonus, Orange Zandoogje): one seen in Peau de Meau
Mallow Skipper (Carcharodes alceae, Kaasjeskruiddikkopje): one seen in the Camarque

Calopteryx virgo (Bosbeekjuffer, Beautiful demoiselle): one male along a stream at a car park in France
Calopteryx xanthostoma (Iberische beekjuffer, “Iberian demoiselle”): reasonable numbers seen at ‘Gorge de Spelunca’
Calopteryx haemorrhoidalis [female] (Koperen beekjuffer, “Copper demoiselle”): common at streams in the Corsican mountains, also at a stream at Peau de Meau
Coenagrion caerulescens (Zuidelijke waterjuffer): good numbers at Peau de Meau
Ischnura genei: at the channel near Etang de Biguglia
Platycnemis pennipes (Blauwe breedscheenjuffer, White-legged Damselfly): good numbers at Peau de Meau
